Below is a list of movies and documentaries that I have watched and really enjoyed!
1) Eye of the Leopard
Eye of the Leopard takes viewers on an enthralling journey deep into the rarely seen lives of leopards. It is a journey of birth, life and death as a mother leopard and her first surviving cub of six fight off marauding baboons and elude scavenging hyenas in a constant struggle for survival.
2) Life in the Undergrowth
Attenborough guides the viewer through a miniature universe teeming with life, never normally seen, yet all around us. New technology reveals surreal vistas and their extraordinary inhabitants — swarming antler moths, desert locusts and a mountain of cockroaches — up close and personal. The bizarre and the beautiful are represented and their habits, lifestyles and characteristics explained in David Attenborough’s inimitable style. Though small, these creatures are as ferocious as any seen before.
3) Echo : and other Elephants
Echo and her elephant family stampede onto DVD in this spectacular two-disc set! Echo is extremely wise, an experienced mother and commanding matriarch of her family. Shes also an African elephant, and arguably one of the most famous elephants in the world through all the programs that documented her and her family for decades in Kenyas Amboseli National Park. While it may seem that Echo and her clan live quiet lives, their days are filled with mating battles, difficult births, health problems, kidnappings, emotional reunions, mischievous children and, occasionally, death at the hand of a hunter. But with all her experience and knowledge, the 60-year old matriarch has been able to successfully lead her family through difficult times.
4) Africa’s Elephant Kingdom
An extended elephant family, featuring a venerable Old Bull, embarks upon a life-and-death journey across the vast African plains. Through oppressive conditions they persevere, facing the extraordinary joys and sorrows of life
